Making goals is great, creating a plan to achieve them is even better, but do you know what’s key? Setting them into action.

Before I started with Acuity, I was part of the 70% of the population who sets goals, makes a plan, but never sets them into action. Now, why in the world would anybody go through all the trouble of setting deadlines and visualizing goals just to not achieve them?

First thing is lack of discipline: Goals take a lot of time and effort to be met. Getting to where you want to go will take time away from your leisure activities, your family and friends, and time away from yourself.  But the reality is, if you don’t set these goals into action, nobody else will do it for you.

No guts: People are often afraid of failure or even worse, success. My own fear of failure has been my biggest obstacle when achieving my goals. What we often forget that we have to fail to win. without failure, there's no learning or growing. It’s a matter of having the guts to take the next step to reach your goal that will make the difference.

With the right gut system, discipline, and motivation, you should be on the path to fully set your plans into action.
