Well this our last 15 miles, it is actually longer than that as we have to walk around the Santiago Airport and our last big climb to a peak where we can look down on Santiago.
Started out in a rural area and quickly get into a busy area, this is a big town and after the airport we walked thru about 5 miles of suburbs to the old town.
Tonight we went to our Hotel...yes a Hotel.....my own bathroom.
Tomorrow we go to the Pilgrims office and get our Comp Estela and the pilgrim’s mass.
In one of the guidebooks it says you might be disappointed when you arrive...that could be because we sometimes equate Success to the destination...Although I think my success has been in the journey. The enjoyment of being unplugged, spending time with my son.....we already had a great bond....just made better.....and time to learn and sometimes relearn lessons in life.
