I think we left the sleepy little town of Formista this morning. It has amazed me again how empty all these towns are, but on Saturday the town is full of people. It seems everyone comes in to share the week’s story.

Well Jim’s leg was fine today...but guess what? I twisted my knee as we were leaving town, since I wasn't in the mood to stop, we kept going.... slowly...only went 15 miles today and took about another 2 hours because of my knee.

Good news is the pharmacies here have magic pills and creams you can’t get in the states...should be up and running by tomorrow...maybe not running.
Staying in a tiny town called Carrion.

Lesson learned:
I did my best to learn some Spanish...but the way they speak it doesn’t sound like the tapes and very few people here speak or understand English, but we have no problem communicating weather it is the lady at the pharmacy, the lady at the refuge or the coffee shop. The reason ....perhaps we are both trying to understand each other. Why do so many sales people....or managers of employees have a hard time communicating? Are you trying to understand the person or just trying to sell them something? Or sell an idea? If so you are listening to me with an agenda and communication is blocked...seek first to understand.
