I had to go it alone, we thought it would be best if Jim went to the next stop about 20 miles away and see a doc about his leg, perhaps with a few days of rest he will be fine. Well, as I said on my own, but what a surprise this morning when I left the town and saw about 20 people leaving the town with me. After the first big elevation climb, 1500 feet, most of the pack disappeared. I met up with a lady from Alaska, Grace, and walked a while with her. Then after the first ten miles, I met up with Andre and his dog. We walked for a long way, he is 32 years old, lost everything and his now searching for what to do. So I just arrived in a little town of 500 people called Fromista.

Lesson Learned:
You will see all the pictures on this post are pictures of yellow Arrows. These Yellow arrows have been painted all the way from France, on trees, streets, farmhouses curbs etc. These are about every 1/4 or 1/2 of Kilometer. The maps I have of Spain would not get me there the way these little leading indicators do. If it has been a while since I have seen a yellow arrow, I get worried. As long I see them, I know I’m going in the right direction to get me to Santiago. What are your yellow arrows that tell you each day, you are going in the right direction? They are called leading indicators.... just like my arrows, they lead you in the right direction. By the way, if you are a sales person and don’t know what they are, or a CEO and don’t know what they are...that would be the same as dropping me off in the Pyrenees Mountains, without a map or my yellow arrows and saying: “Ill pick you up in 30 days in Santiago. I doubt I’ll make it”

What are your yellow arrows?
