Hard to believe we have been walking for ten days. A good morning; left a nice place and had a relative flat walk today. But after 10 days, when I thought things would be easier, things fool me. I have blisters on several of my toes and instead of going away they are getting bigger. My back is starting to get knots in it after the first 10 miles every day. It has gotten very cold here. We stopped in a little town called Belorado for refuge ...coldest place in town, and sleeping in a room with 50 other people.... where is my Hyatt Hotel???

Lesson learned:
I have many excuses now that would let me stop the walk. Blisters, rainy, cold, back problems and now my knee, but instead of complaining we move on and will finish. You cannot grow, you cannot grow your company, and you cannot grow your people until you stop accepting excuses. If you are saying yes, it is tough out there, you are accepting excuses. You and your people must take responsibility for everything if you are going to push beyond where you are.
