Day three of our journey across France and Spain, and while the first two days were grueling, this day was a joy. While we have planed this trip and everything we needed for the last year, the first two days we got up and walked, but today we took a half hour in the morning to plan out the day, the hills we would have to tackle, rivers and highways we would have to cross. We even planed where we should take our breaks and when to build up our energy and we went an extra 5 miles today. I thought this like a lot of companies that take the time to build a strategic plan, but never or seldom look at what they are executing today and if it is helping their plan.
