When you connect with anyone and everyone that you know, you extend your network of connections to the people that they know. This means that by adding one person and them becoming your 1st degree connection, you have automatically increased your network size by also associating yourself with THEIR connections as well (2nd and 3rd degree connections).
This means more people to read your updates, more information readily available, and more business opportunities. By building your network, you’re also building your personal brand on LinkedIn, which is invaluable.
