Got a late start out of Triacastla, named for the three castles that protect its valleys. It was a great sunny day, probably about 60 degrees....from what we hear, unheard of for this time of year. This was probably the prettiest walk we had and from how beautiful every day as been, that is saying a lot. Since we have now entered into the Galicia region, it seems all very lush forest. We ended up in a nice little Albergue in the town of Sarria. We met a few more people over the last couple of days, 3 different couples from England, one couple was using the Camino to decide if they get married or not. Another one was trying to renew their marriage and another just got married...a crazy honeymoon. We also met a guy from Vegas today, real nice guy and looks like he his just having a nice walk in the park.

I found myself walking in a lot of ruts today. Ruts made by horse and cart, tractors, and the rain water itself. In fact, on several occasions I think we were walking in the Rut of a river bed, very easy to walk in ruts, they kind of control your steps, hard to turn right or left.... it really controls your direction. When you want to go a different direction you have to make a real effort to get out of the rut. I thought about this a lot in the sense of business, when we get in a rut, whether you are a CEO, Manager, or sales person, it is easy to stay in the rut and you can feel comfortable in the rut, but if you want to change direction, the rut causes you to make a real effort to change.

Lesson Learned:
Be aware when you are in a rut and make the effort to get out. Someone said a rut is just a coffin waiting to be covered.
