A short walk today started at 7:30 ended at 3:30. Stopped in a lovely town Logrono. Great plaza, lunch and we listened to the Sunday church bells. Then on to Navareete. It was an interesting walk out of Logrono, it seemed that the whole town was walking with us. The Camino in this town encircles many parks. We didn’t see any other walkers today, we are pretty much on our own and it looks like bad weather is on its way. We are staying at Hostel El Cantero.

Lesson:
Walking sticks, I wasn’t going to bring walking sticks (you know, they look like ski poles but for walking) I didn’t think I would need them....but I was wrong they make a huge difference going up the hills, letting me put some of the climb on the poles and great for going down hill. They are now a part of the way I walk an extension of my arms.
So if you are running a company or in sales, are you willing to get your ego out of the way and ask for and accept help? All the successful owners of companies that I know have no problem asking for help from consultants, CEO groups, like Vistage, TAB etc.

So are you going to look for your own type of walking sticks to help you get to where you are going? If not, you may still get to where you are going but it will take longer and take a lot more energy!
