This past Thanksgiving, me and my wife celebrated our 40th anniversary in the city where it all started- Chicago! And while there, I had a few "a-ha" moments and thought I'd share them.
Riding on the "L", Chicago's subway system, made me realize something. When most salespeople, and people in general, are planning their future, they have a starting point and an end-goal. But, how often do you plan out ALL of the milestones needed to reach along the way to get you from where you're at to where you want to be? Once you've created these milestones, you can actually track your progress throughout the year. This is one of the biggest reasons that people either fail to achieve their yearly goals or forget about them altogether!
